KHAN FOOD AND AUTO RICE MILLS LTD: Saving 68% of Energy Consumption
Mithela Textile Industries Limited has been given the Platinum LEED Certificate by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) for solid dyed woven textiles, as well as for our contribution towards the environment. This certification has acted as a boost for us to take a step further and promote greenery, and a pollution-free environment. That’s why we established the Khan Food and Auto Rice Mills Limited, which is also in the process to adopt greener methods of manufacturing food items. Basically, this is our brainchild that helps MTIL go green and save energy.

Automatic Touchless Production Floor
KFARM Production Process
KFARM utilizes fully automated machines for rice production, ensuring efficiency and consistency. We source the highest quality paddy from reliable suppliers. Our dedicated and skilled team prioritizes sourcing, as it is crucial for maintaining a top-quality product. We take great pride in providing the country with the rice we all deserve—free from any mixing, allowing consumers to savor the true flavor of the product.

Automated Packaging and Delivery
Automatic Packaging Process
KFARM has established an automated production line. Once the paddy is placed into the automated machines, we simply await the completion of the packaging process. At the end, we receive packaged bags that are ready for delivery, which we then store for sale. This system eliminates the need for human interaction, ensuring that all products are hygienically processed with no human contact. As a result, cleanliness and hygiene are consistently maintained throughout the production process.

Saving 68% of Energy
Automatic Husk Burning system
KFARM has implemented an automated system that collects and stores rice mill husk, a by-product of our milling process. This husk is utilized in our husk burner, where automation plays a key role. The system automatically transfers husk from storage to the burner as needed, allowing us to generate substantial steam for our machinery. This efficient use of husk has led to a remarkable 68% reduction in energy consumption. By harnessing this by-product, Mithela Textile Industries Ltd has achieved LEED Platinum certification, underscoring our commitment to sustainability.
